Study: Mapping of specialised “financial intermediaries” that are offering financing in the Cultural and Creative Sectors (CCS)

The main objective of the project was to identify “Specialised CCS Financial Intermediaries” across 29 countries ” that might have been already offering debt products to companies operating in the CCS.
The study was divided in two phases:

  • Phase 1: desk research of “Specialised CCS Financial Intermediaries” to obtain information regarding the presence in the CCS (i.e., in terms of NACE codes eligible or any other source of information), type of debt financing products offered, and the historical track record.
  • Phase 2: Interviews with pre-selected “Specialised CCS Financial Intermediaries” to complete and verifying information obtained under phase 1 with a particular focus on historical track record.

The study was developed in consortium with Ernst & Young, s.r.o.
