The Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA 2021-2027 programme is a European cross-border cooperation programme covering the departments of Haute-Savoie and Savoie, and the departments of Hautes-Alpes, Alpes-de-Haute-Provence and Alpes-Maritimes in France; whilst, in Italy, it covers the Autonomous Region of Valle d’Aosta, the Provinces of Turin and Cuneo, and the Province of Imperia.

The challenge facing the Interreg ALCOTRA programme is to address the shared needs of neighbouring communities by launching initiatives that respect cultural differences and natural heritage and contribute to the goal of digitalisation.

Ahead of the new 2028-2034 programming period, the programme’s Managing Authority (Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes Region) has commissioned t33 to provide support to the Monitoring Committee in drawing up the Interreg France-Italy ALCOTRA 2028-2034 plan, to be submitted to the European Commission.

The service includes: (1) facilitating the partnership and engaging stakeholders through consultation and public consultation activities, aimed at drafting the Interreg Plan Chapter 2028-2034 and the related technical documents; (2) preparing for the launch of the new programming period, including the drafting of the first call for projects and the organisation of the related launch event; (3) carrying out the strategic environmental assessment and the analysis of compliance with the DNSH principle, to ensure the integration of environmental and sustainability aspects into programming decisions; (4) providing support for any further regulatory requests from the European Commission, ensuring the timely preparation of additional documents and contributions.
