Regional operational program (ROP) 2007 - 2013 is a very important instrument to implement the national strategy for regional development in Romania. The programme is managed by the Ministry of Regional Development and Public Administration (MDRAP) and covers all the eight development regions of Romania. Based on counterfactual methods, the evaluation analyses the effects of the ROP support to the development of microenterprises, and the ERDF contribution to the objectives of regional development.
