The evaluation of the Italy-France Maritime Cross-Border Cooperation Programme 2014-2020 verifies the efficiency, effectivness and impact of the Programme, with specific reference to the following elements:

• the Programme capacity of using the available resources, by verifying, during the Programme implementation, the financial performance at project, action, specific objective, investment priority, axis and program, in relation to both the allocation of the original resources and the financial needs detected through monitoring (efficiency dimension)
• the ability to achieve the expected results,  (effectiveness dimension)
• the ability to contribute to the pursuit of the objectives of the Europe 2020 Strategy (impact dimension).

In particular, the assessment is divided into the following activities: 1. Evaluation of the programme implementation, concerning the implementation processes, the methods of use of resources and the verification of the achievement of expected results; 2. impact assessments, verifying the Programme ability to contribute to the achievement of its specific objectives and to the achievements the objectives of smart, sustainable and inclusive growth Europe 2020; 3. Summary report, with the aim of drawing up an overview of the evaluation activities carried out and of the main results of the Programme.
