The overall objective of the service is to provide the Financial Instruments Advisory (FIA) team of the EIB with information and quantitative data that provide a clear picture of the Thematic Objectives and/or sectors, and geographies in which Fis have not been widely deployed in the 2014-2020 programming period according to two existing datasets (the payment dataset and the FI implementation dataset), publicly available and/or made available by Dg Regio. The service also builds from the database developed in relation to the fi-compass 'Ex ante assessment stock-taking study'.
The specific objective is to crunch two existing datasets in order to provide clear and synthetic information on the implementation of FIs in the 28 Member States during 2014-2020 programming period.
