The assignment, commissioned by INVITALIA, as support for the Ministry of Enterprises and Made in Italy (MIMIT), concerns the provision of specialist support for the survey and rationalisation of national business incentive schemes within the framework of the reform “Rationalisation and simplification of business incentives” under Mission 1 – Component 2 of the National Recovery and Resilience Plan (NRRP).

This reform, linked to milestone M1C2-14 bis of the NRRP, required the preparation of an Evaluation Report on national business incentives, including concrete proposals for their rationalisation and simplification.

Within this context, t33 contributed to achieving the NRRP milestone by developing a comprehensive knowledge base on incentive schemes. The work involved the complete mapping of existing national measures, their classification by strategic area, target beneficiaries and objectives, the analysis of similarities and potential overlaps among instruments, and the definition of performance indicators to assess their effectiveness and operational performance.

The assignment was carried out in close collaboration with Invitalia, under the guide of t33 and its expert Giovanni Familiari.
