This study aims at establishing basis for further efforts aimed at collecting EU-level evidence on European territorial cooperation.
In the scope of this assignment, long-term developments in the cross-border and transnational areas are investigated. This is because it is assumed that the results of cooperation take long time to evolve and, therefore, to evaluate.
The study consists of  three tasks: 1) A scoping study primarily focused on accessibility/mobility and environment/climate change, 2) An in-depth investigation of the labour market topic, and 3) An inventory of cross-border and transnational data sources.
