Impact evaluation of the ALCOTRA Programme

The impact assessment of the Interreg V-A France-Italy ALCOTRA 2014-2020 Programme focuses on the evaluation of the impact generated by the Programme in the cooperation area. The key evaluation objectives are to:

  • Identify and illustrate the main benefits brought by the Programme.  Thanks the analysis of the main Programme’s documents and data from the monitoring system, the evaluators draft a preliminary list of categories of expected benefits.

  • Gather inputs and draws lessons learned for the post-2020 programming period. A specific focus is dedicated to the analysis of PITEM and PITER’s impacts, to better understand the specificities of these plans.

The evaluators use several methodological tools such as desk reviews, interviews, case studies, focus group and surveys.
