t33  experts were engaged in several projects in Turkey (ABIGEM, European Turkish Business Centres Network -  Development of Turkish Clustering Policy) coordinated by CSIL. The aim was to support establishment of a cluster policy and cluster interventions tools. The experts: provided a benchmarking with Italian national and regional activities; assist the design of the political concept paper on cluster policy ; delivery the methodology and training to assess the settlement of new business centre; coordinate the feasibility assessment for the business centres in different Turkish regions (Batman, Kahramanmaras, Kars, Kastamonu, Samsun, Erzurum, Gaziantep , Malatya, Sanlıurfa,Trabzon). In the context of the studies, Alessandro Valenza was speaker at the UNDP conference in Instabul (2008) on cluster development
