According to the EU Treaty it is the overall aim of the EU to promote economic, social and territorial cohesion.
The study aims at:

• providing the evidence on how Cohesion policy affects other key EU policies (European Green Deal; the EU's Digital Strategy, the first pillar of the CAP and the rural development policy, Horizon Europe, Connecting Europe facility, Trade policy, etc.) and;

• contributing to the role of the CoR as a pro-active player in the wider debate of cohesion as an overall value and objective of the EU.

The study is led by Spatial Foresight GmbH, with t33 contributions.
