The overall objective of the study, implemented under the Multiple Framework contract ‘Economic and Social Policy’, is to assess the degree of SBA’s implementation in the European regions, by gathering relevant data and identifying good practices for each of the ten SBA principles. The study is intended to have an impact on promoting the idea of entrepreneurship throughout Europe. Moreover, the report identifies the key issues that inhibit the effective implementation of the SBA, and it provides recommendations for effective governance tools at local and regional level.
